End of next summer's construction zone

tons of trees down all along the road

the West Branch bridge

the West Branch - jump right in!

100 feet beyond the boat launch - you're done without tracks (working on that one)

best pic of all - my wife goes wheeling!

And, if you are like Gary H, then you have this rig

And you get to just drive on in.  Tracks... Hmmm...

Thanks Nick, I am going to try to get up next weekend, depending on weather. Crazy the amount of downed trees this year!
And more wind expected today. Embarrassed

Tried again today.  Fresh tracks all day in a foot of new snow!  Got to the top of the pavement and decided enough snow plow, and then tried xc skis.  Sank in 8 inches, went 200 yds and turned around.  Denied again.

We'll be going up this Sat. Not sure I will break trail all the way to the cabins though, this allows possible undesireables in the area.

We were tossing the idea of stayin the night, but by the looks of the pictures there may be a tad bit of digging!  Grin

Awesome!!  Aren't those so much more fun than driving for hours over snow.  A fraction of the time spent getting there means a lot more time to play!!! plus you can play along the way.
